Field Bridge – For Prior to 12/31/2015

Note the same registration key cannot be used on 2 different computers. This will send a duplicate encrypted computer ID out and then we must track this down or disable the code.

Installing the Image Trend Field Bridge:

1. Install all the Windows Updates to the computer
2. Using the following website: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17718 and follow the directions to install the Microsoft .NET Framework 4
3. Run Windows update to received the latest patches for Microsoft .NET Framework. Note that windows update generally needs to be initiated a multiple times to obtain all the patches and Microsoft .NET Framework installations/updates can be slow to install, have patience! Do restart the computer to install necessary patches as needed.
4. Download and install Adobe Reader and Adobe Flash from www.adobe.com
5. Download and install Microsoft Silverlight from www.microsoft.com/silverlight
6. Click here to download the MSI Installer then run as administrator.
7. Install the Field Bridge and select for All Users when prompted.
8. If this is a re-installation of the software and the database is not corrupted then the software license key, user names, passwords and service settings should be intact.
9. If this is for a new install or technical help is needed; contact Jay Ostby at the EMS Office for a license key and further instructions for installation.
10. Once the Field Bridge is installed and the Settings entered, click on Sync button from the log in screen. A Rescue Service Admin may need to log in to update settings. Have a Resuce Service Admin log into Field Bridge. Click on “Help/Support,” click on “Check For Updates” and install any updates listed. The Field Bridge may need to be restarted.
11. Have a Rescue Service Admin log in. Click on Administrative Options, click on “Setup Auto Call Numbering” and complete the Auto Call Number Setup making sure each Field Bridge has a unique code:
    1. Suggestion/recommendations for Setup:
       1. First Text box enter the abbreviation to service followed by a dash
       2. Select the date format desired from the pull down
       3. In the second Text box, enter a dash followed by an internal computer number that is unique followed by a dash. Example: -TB2- or “NB04”
       4. Set Auto-Number Format to the number of characters desired
       5. Set Next Auto-Number to 1 or desired number
       6. Place a checkmark in the Increment on New Patient

Zoll RescueNet Code Review

A technical reminder, Microsoft .NET Framework is required to run RescueNet. This can be downloaded from the Microsoft Update. Note the .NET installation can be time consuming and slow.

Attention users, please install RescueNet Code Review V6.2.021 before upgrading to Field Bridge Version 6.6 on Wednesday February 24th, 2014 If the upgrade is not performed before February 24th, you will have to have to uninstall both the Field Bridge and the Zoll software.
