Physician Medical Director of the Year
Established in 1983, the EMS Physician Medical Director of the Year is given in recognition of a Wyoming physician who has provided outstanding leadership and guidance to their local Emergency Medical Service. The award recognizes the totality of the physician’s contribution to their local service, community, and EMS across Wyoming

Rising Star
Any Wyoming EMS provider licensed for less than five (5) years is eligible for the EMS Rising Star Award. The award is presented to a newer EMS provider in recognition of contributions to emergency medical services during the award year. The nominee has demonstrated outstanding potential as an EMS leader.

Achievement Awards
Any Wyoming EMS licensed provider or provider agency is eligible for the Achievement Award. The award is presented to an EMS member or agency in recognition of commitment and contributions to emergency medical services during the award year. The level of contribution is significant, but may not meet the high standards of the EMS Provider of the Year award.
