The Behavioral Health Division (Division) is seeking applications to provide outpatient and residential community mental health and substance use disorder treatment services in one (1) or more counties in Wyoming during State Fiscal Year 2027.
A provider is eligible to apply for this funding if the provider: 1) meets the definition of a Behavioral Health Center (BHC) under W.S. 35-1-613(a)(xvi); AND 2) is certified according to Chapter 2 of the Department of Health’s Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder Services, Behavioral Health Service Provider Certification rules.
BHCs deliver a comprehensive set of mental health and substance use disorder services, that are responsive to community needs, either locally or through a formal written agreement with another provider. BHCs are expected to operate one (1) full time office in each county served that is staffed a minimum of forty (40) hours per week, Monday through Friday, with on-call emergency services available.

FY27-28 WRIR Community Housing Application
The Wyoming Department of Health, Behavioral Health Division is accepting applications for the 2027 PATH Grant year.
Below are links to this year’s application and guidelines for reference. Application documents for the 2027 PATH Grant year are due no later than 11:59:00 pm, February 2, 2026. All applications and questions should be directed to bhd.grants@wyo.gov. Questions should be submitted no later than January 26, 2026.
Intent of the Program: PATH’s goal is to assist individuals who are at imminent risk or are experiencing homelessness and have a serious mental illness or co-occurring substance use disorder(s). The services provided link the individuals in need to mainstream and other supportive services to help secure safe and stable housing, improve health, and overall encourage a self-directed, purposeful life. These funds are not intended to be solely used for housing support (i.e,. rent, safety deposit, etc).
Who can apply: Only Wyoming non-profit organizations, local or county governments, and tribal entities are eligible to apply. Applicants must provide any updates to the entity’s Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) number and Certificate of Good Standing from the Wyoming Secretary of State, or any updated letter from the County stating governmental status is required.
