School District Report Cards

Under Wyo. Stat. Ann. § 21-4-309 an annual audit of the immunization status of students enrolled in public and private schools is conducted. This assessment includes immunization coverage for kindergarten students statewide.

District-level vaccination coverage estimates are important because public health issues often begin in small geographic areas and certain public health actions are most effective at the local level. Beginning in 2021, information from the ISR was used to assess coverage by district throughout the state. Districts with less than 20 kindergarten students are not represented in order to maintain student privacy in line with data deidentification standards.
