ABOUT US
Behavioral Health Division
It is our mission to be responsive to the behavioral health needs of Wyoming residents by developing and overseeing a quality integrated continuum of care that is customer-focused, collaborative, evidenced-based and outcomes driven.
The Behavioral Health Division is comprised of six (6) units that collaboratively work together to meet the needs of Wyoming residents.

Mental Health Professionals Licensing Board: Ensures that individuals licensed or certified to provide mental health services in Wyoming are appropriately qualified in order to safeguard the health, safety, and welfare of its citizens.
Substance Abuse and Mental Health Ombudsman Program: Help with substance abuse or mental health issues through information and referral, coaching, service support, education, and advocacy.
WDH Prevention and Health Promotion Unit: Providing sustainable, comprehensive, and effective prevention strategies focused on alcohol, tobacco, opioids and other drugs, suicide, and unintentional injury.
