Vision
Mission
To drive effective suicide prevention and response strategies in Wyoming through diverse public-private collaboration.
Who are we?
We are a passionate group of Wyomingites who have a personal and/or professional interest in preventing suicide.
What do we do?
We work together with a focus on supporting suicide prevention efforts throughout the state. This includes identifying gaps in services, supporting training, and being the statewide voice for suicide prevention efforts.
How do we work?
We have four sub-committees that focus on infrastructure, communications, interventions, and policy. The entire WASP committee meets on a quarterly basis to discuss state-level activities, community prevention efforts, legislative updates, share ideas, offer training, and more. The meeting provides a platform for anyone working on suicide prevention to learn about opportunities for collaboration and to discuss challenges or successes.
Who should join?
Anyone interested in preventing suicide in Wyoming is welcome to join!
I’m interested. How can I join or learn more?
We are always looking for more caring people to join our efforts! If you are interested in joining or learning more, please fill out the WASP Interest Form below and we will reach out to you.
