What is the Adult Hearing Aid Program?
In March 2024, the Wyoming legislature enacted Wyoming Statute § 35-25-601, et. seq., to create an Adult Hearing Aid Program to assist adults with profound hearing loss who have a monthly modified adjusted gross family income at or below two hundred percent (200%) of the federal poverty level in acquiring medically necessary hearing aids.
Currently, the program’s administrative rules are under review. The Adult Hearing Aid Program is expected to open the first application period prior to the end of 2024 and expects the first people to be served in early 2025.
Application Process
Program application will be available prior to the end of 2024.
