The Division of Healthcare Financing, Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Section invites Developmental Disabilities (DD) Waivers and Community Choices Waiver (CCW) case managers and providers to an informative session on assistive technology presented by Wyoming Assistive Technology Resources (WATR).

As Wyoming’s designated Assistive Technology Act program, WATR serves as a statewide resource to help individuals identify, acquire, and use assistive technology. This session will provide an overview of available resources, device demonstration and loan services, and ways to better support participants through assistive technology solutions. Intent to Amend Rules

Wyoming Department of Health

Public notice is hereby given that the Wyoming Department of Health, Division of Healthcare Financing, proposes to adopt the following amended rule pursuant to its statutory authority in Wyoming Statutes §§ 42-4-101 through 124.

Chapter 45

DD WAIVER PROVIDER STANDARDS, CERTIFICATION, AND SANCTIONS

Chapter 45 is revised at Section 8(j) to clarify that providers shall round service time in accordance with the Comprehensive and Supports Waiver Service Index as incorporated by reference at Section 35(b)(iv). The current provision prohibits providers from rounding up total service time, which is incompatible with the Department’s current Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) system.

As required by Wyoming Statutes § 16-3-103(a)(i)(G), this proposed change meets minimum substantive state statutory requirements.

A public hearing will be held if requested by 25 persons, by a governmental subdivision, or by an association having not less than 25 members.

The Wyoming Department of Health welcomes all comments and suggestions on the proposed amendments. Any person may urge the Agency not to amend this rule and may request that the Agency state its reasons for overruling the consideration urged against amendment. Written comments must be submitted to the above address or on the Secretary of State Rules website, no later than 11:59 p.m. on December 24, 2026.

Interested parties may request a statement of the Department’s position regarding each comment and the action taken as a result of the comments prior to, or within thirty days after the Agency action. Requests must be submitted to the above address. If requested, the statement will be issued by the Department within thirty days after the Agency action.
