Nursing Home Checklist – A checklist of items to ask about and check for when searching for a long-term care facility.
Office of the Inspector General (OIG) Hotline. The OIG maintains a hotline that offers a confidential means for reporting vital information regarding fraud, waste, and mismanagement in any Department of Health and Human Services program.
Long-Term Care Ombudsman. The Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program helps residents of long-term care facilities protect their health, safety, welfare, and rights. The ombudsman works to resolve individual resident issues.
Medicaid Fraud Control Unit. The unit investigates and prosecutes Medicaid provider fraud and patient abuse and neglect in Medicaid-funded facilities under the direction of the Wyoming Attorney General.
