In accordance with the Wyoming Drug Donation Program Act, refrigerated medications (such as insulin) cannot be donated for re-dispensing. Since proper refrigeration cannot be confirmed, there is not a way to guarantee the medication(s) would remain safe and effective. The WMDP cannot provide insulin and related medical supplies (such as pen needles, test strips, etc.) to enrolled patients of the program.

Want to Donate Insulin and Diabetic Supplies?
The Wyoming Medication Donation Program cannot re-dispense insulin or other temperature-sensitive items. However, there is a program that accepts insulin and other diabetic supplies and disperses them to other countries with limited health resources. Insulin for Life USA is a not-for-profit with a mission to rescue unused diabetes supplies here in the United States and deliver them to people across the world who have no access to these life saving necessities. Visit their website for more information about what items they accept and how to properly ship your insulin donation to their facility.
