OUR MISSION
The mission of the Wyoming Public Health Laboratory’s Chemical Testing Program (CTP) is to support public safety by providing alcohol and drugs of abuse testing to a wide variety of federal, state, and local agencies in a reliable, cost effective, and timely manner. To accomplish this mission, the CTP offers state of the art and quality assured forensic toxicology services, and implements new protocols and technologies as necessary. The CTP also manages the Wyoming Breath Alcohol Testing Program by providing operator training, procedure development, instrument maintenance, and certification of both operators and instruments.
The Chemical Testing Laboratory of the Wyoming Public Health Laboratory is comprised of the Drug Toxicology and Alcohol Testing sections. Testing is done under the authority of Wyoming State Statute 31-6-105(a). The Drug Toxicology lab is responsible for testing biological samples for controlled and non-controlled substances, while the Alcohol lab performs testing for alcohol and is responsible for the Breath Alcohol Testing Program.
The Chemical Testing Laboratory supports a variety of agencies and programs including federal, state, county, and municipal law enforcement agencies, the Department of Corrections, Department of Family Services, Drug Courts, county coroners, juvenile probation offices, group homes, hospitals, treatment centers and local government agencies.

UA kits will be $9, that fee covers the basic 8 panel drug screen, and a GC/MS confirmation to confirm any positives from the basic panel, if enough sample was collected to perform a second test. There is a flat $9 shipping charge no matter how many you order. Other drug screens can be added on the submittal form, but will require you to include a check or credit card authorization form with the kit, to cover the extra costs:
