The Wyoming State Hospital (WSH) is committed to keeping our patients and staff as safe as possible during the current Covid-19 pandemic and have implemented the following CMS recommendations regarding visitors:
-
Mask directive and social distancing for both patient and visitor
-
1-3 visitors per patient. Exceptions can be made at the request of the Treatment Team.
-
Visitors must check in at the switchboard and complete the COVID questionnaire
-
The case managers will coordinate visits and decide on where they will occur.
-
The CDC/CMS recommends outside visitation if weather permits
The WSH may restrict visitation based on the positivity rate of Covid-19 at the facility or the surrounding community, however, certain compassionate care situations, such as an end-of-life situation will be accommodated.
Please contact the WSH for current visiting guidelines.
During this time your point of contact regarding the status of our patients will be their case manager. We will make all efforts to offer alternative forms of communication with patients such as phone calls.
We thank you for your cooperation with keeping our patients safe.
Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
No weapons are allowed on campus.
