The Tobacco Prevention and Control Program manages a statewide tobacco cessation program, Wyoming Quit Tobacco (WQT), that specifically serves Wyoming residents. The WQT offers the following:
- personalized quit plans,
- coaching support from trained quit coaches,
- 24/7 support and tools,
- FREE nicotine replacement therapies (patches, gum, lozenges), and
- FREE cessation medications that can help you quit.
These resources are proven to increase the success of your quit journey.
People who use WQT are 3 times more likely to quit.
Special Programs Offered Through WQT
Pregnancy and Post-Partum (PPP) Program
The WQT has a PPP Program to help pregnant and post-partum women quit tobacco. Quitting is important for your health and your baby’s health during and after pregnancy.

MLMQ is a free and confidential service to help teens quit smoking or vaping. This program has specialized coaches who are here to help you take back your life and live it your way.
