Rachael Miles IIS Interoperability Specialist Wyoming Department of Health Immunization Unit Onboarding is the term used to describe the process that establishes an interface connection between a provider’s electronic medical record (EMR) system and the Wyoming Immunization Registry, otherwise known as the WyIR. An established interface automatically transmits immunization data to the WyIR when vaccination events are recorded in the EMR. Deaths among Wyoming residents are added to the state’s coronavirus-related death total based on official death certificate information and the location of the person’s permanent residence. Deaths among Wyoming residents who pass away in other states are not counted in both states.
