Home health and hospice services are available to all Medicaid eligible individuals. Home health services include skilled nursing, personal care, and therapy services in a Medicaid client’s home under a physician’s plan of care.
Hospice services provide end of life and comfort care to terminally ill patients. These services may be provided in the individual’s private home, a nursing facility, an assisted living facility, or an inpatient hospice facility. Additional services include spiritual services and grievance counseling.
