Wyoming Multicultural Health Advisory Committee

The Multicultural Health Advisory Committee (MHAC) is comprised of a diverse group of people who are dedicated to understanding and improving health inequities that specifically challenge racial and ethnic minorities living in Wyoming.

Committee members, from all cultural backgrounds, accomplish this by working with residents to identify existing healthcare gaps; analyze data and consult with healthcare professionals,  community advocates, and  policy makers in order to build community skills, capacity, and leadership.

Members gain insight to local communities through presentations and networking.  The process of sharing multi-level information and resources is accomplished by expansion and inclusion of members and their coalitions and affiliations to help mobilize resources effectively and efficiently.
