Wyoming Retirement Center

The Wyoming Retirement Center is a Medicare, Medicaid, and Veterans' Administration certified long term, convalescent, and respite care facility established to meet the needs of Wyoming's elderly and disabled citizens.

A high quality of life and care is the center's goal for each resident.  Twenty-four hour nursing, regularly scheduled physician visits, available physical, occupational, and speech therapies all enhance the ability of residents to regain or maintain maximal independence and health recovery.

The Wyoming Retirement Center is located in Basin, at the western base of the beautiful Big Horn Mountains 30 miles north of Worland on US Highway 20, just 10 miles south of Greybull. Just like the Veteran's Home and Pioneer Home, civic organizations, fraternal organizations, churches and individual volunteers  provide services to help residents.   There are nondenominational church services conducted in the chapel by various churches, along with a chaplain to address spiritual concerns.
