Although our name is changing, or services are not. We continue to provide education and support to the public and to health care professionals throughout the state of Wyoming.

NEW SPANISH TUBERCULOSIS EDUCATION WEBSITE
The Division of Tuberculosis Elimination (DTBE)... Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), is pleased to announce the launch of the Spanish TB website at:
The website provides a variety of basic TB information on exposure, testing and treatment of the disease. This website includes translated DTBE fact sheets, publications, posters, recorded video and audio podcases in Spanish.

To request a hard copy version, please send an email through the TB Supplies email (email@example.com) with the header "TB Manual Request" and include your clinic name, attention to:, address, and phone number.
NEW TB MEDICATION PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
As of August 1, 2011 all clinics requesting TB medications must have the new Risk Assessment form completed with the patient's Social Security number. If the client does not have a Social Security number, please call the Wyoming Department of Health, TB Program prior to completion of the form.
SHOULD YOUR HEALTHCARE FACILITY BE CONDUCTING SCREENING FOR TB??
All healthcare facilities should have current policies in place to address TB screening, based on the November 2010 Wyoming Department of Health recommendations (CLICK HERE).
Please read and complete the CDC Guidance and Risk Assessment (below) to determine specific facility risk and appropriate screening frequency.

TB ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING *new dates added*
The next meeting of the Wyoming TB Advisory Committee will be held in Lander, WY on April 11-12, 2013.
All interested parties are welcome to attend. A call-in number may be provided before the meeting for those unable to attend in person.
