- ADA Safe At School Campaign - Program sponsored by the American Diabetes Association that includes resources for parents, school, and health care professionals. Site also includes model school plans. A CD can be ordered that includes PowerPoint slide programs and vido clips.

- Bulletin Boards in a SNAP -Website offers downloadable bulletin board templates from the Wyoming State Nutrition Action Plan (SNAP) team. The purpose of the project is to communicate consistent nutrition messages through multiple channels in order to reduce the risk of overweight and obesity in Wyoming.
- Camp Hope, Wyoming - The first Camp Hope in Wyoming was started in 1979. The camp’s primary focus is on the emotional and psychological aspects of diabetes in children. The goal of the camp is to prepare children for living with diabetes, not just controlling the disease.

- Colorado Kids with Diabetes - Collaborative effort in Colorado to standardize diabetes care for students; website includes tool kits for school nurses, families, and health care providers
- Diabetes Education in Tribal Schools (DETS) - The DETS curriculum includes K-12 multidisciplinary units with lessons designed to enhance the understanding and appreciation of the problems of diabetes in American Indian and Alaska Native communities. Theme of the project is "Health is Life in Balance." The curriculum is based on national education standards along with Native American cultural content.

- Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation - The foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for diabetes.
- Parent Information Center (PIC) - a statewide parent center for families of children with disabilities. PIC provides information, support and referrals to families on their rights and responsibilities under specific federal laws.
- Pink Panther Book: Understanding Diabetes - Book is by H. Peter Chase, MD, and is considered by many to be an excellent first choice of a book for children with diabetes and their families who are trying to understand the disease. To find the book on-line, use a web search engine and search for key words of "Pink Panther Book Diabetes."
- School Resource - "Children with Diabetes: A Resource Guide for Schools" - a school resource manual for school personnel from the Montana Diabetes Project (large file, may take several minutes to load)
- Pocket Inserts for "Children with Diabetes: A Resource Guide for Schools" - Everything you need when a child with diabetes is coming to your school. All of these items are “copier-ready”.
- School Resources from the National Diabetes Education Program - school guide, tip sheets, fact sheets, and other resources.
- Virginia Diabetes Council’s School Forms and Protocol - The Virginia Diabetes Council's Education and Empowerment Workgroup, in collaboration with over 200 partners, created school resources to promote quality diabetes care of children in Virginia's school system. The website includes links to the school forms for students with diabetes that are currently being used in Virginia.
- Wyoming Families for Hands & Voices – a Wyoming non-profit organization dedicated to supporting families with children who are deaf or hard of hearing. Goal of organization is to provide families with the resources, networks, and information needed to improve communication access and educational outcomes for their children.
- Wyoming Protection & Advocacy System - the official non-profit corporation authorized to implement certain mandates of several federal laws. P&A Systems are in each state and territory. They provide protection of the rights of persons with disabilities through legally-based advocacy.
