Webex: Ensuring Accuracy of ADL Coding on MDS 3.0
Friday, March 28, 2014 ~ 12:00 noon-1:30 p.m. MT
Program Description: In October 2013, several changes were made in the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) User’s Manual related to coding of Activities of Daily Living (ADL) status in G0110 on the Minimum Data Set, Version 3.0 (MDS 3.0). During this on-line educational program, the presenter will provide insights into correctly coding ADL Self-Performance, including how to correctly apply the Rule of 3, and will describe how to accurately document ADL Support. Because understanding how each ADL is defined on the MDS 3.0 is of critical importance for accurate assessment, each of the 10 activities of daily living documented in Item G0110 on the MDS 3.0 will be defined for participants. This program will include time for participants’ questions to be addressed by the speaker.
