Substance Abuse Control Plan 

 

Inventory of Wyoming Standards:  

The following is a summary of Rules and Regulations of the Mental Health and Substance Division (MHSASD). This summary provides a context in which to begin the revision and re-write of the Substance Abuse Standards for the State of Wyoming. 

 

The following standards will be affected by this current re-write.  

• Standards for the Operation of Community Mental Health and Substance Abuse Programs (1993)
• Chapter 16 (2002) of the Substance Abuse Standards.
• Chapter 17 (2004) of the Substance Abuse Standards.

 

The following steps will be taken to address the above Standards.  

• Removal of outdated Substance Abuse Standards contained in the Standards for the Operation of Community Mental Health and Substance Abuse Programs (1993). Chapter 16 re-write in 2002 replaced these standards. 
• Collapse and re-write of Chapter 16 and 17 of the current Substance Abuse Standards.
• Integration of Department of Correction Standards into the re-write.
