EqualityCare (WY Medicaid) provides an array of community-based mental health and substance abuse recovery services to assist individuals of all ages (and their families) with mental health and substance abuse related issues.  Services of this program include (but are not limited to): 

  • Community Mental Health Services
  • Substance Abuse Services
  • Psychologist Services
  • Psychiatric Services
  • Advanced Practice Nurses with specialty in Psychiatric/Mental Health

Chapter 13 of the Medicaid Administrative Rules which is specifically written for providers of Medicaid-covered mental health and substance abuse services.  This rule will be updated within the next year to reflect recent changes to the Medicaid State Plan's Rehabilitative Services Option and to more closely align the Mental Health and Substance Abuse Service Divisions mental health standards whenever possible.
