Childhood vaccination remains the only real defense against many diseases. Without vaccinations, children are at risk for lifelong health problems and premature death.  Immunization is recognized as one of the greatest achievements in the preventions of death and disease in children all over the world. We are continuously looking for ways to work with families to take their children in for their immunizations and well child visits.

Get a backpack or bag for you or your kids when you get them immunized or take them in for their well child visit or sports physical.

On December 1, 2009 Kid Care CHIP kicked off  a new program called “Be Happy, Be Healthy, Be You”.  This program rewards families for taking their children in when it is time for their Immunizations, Well Child visits and Sports Physicals. Families receive cards that are to be completed by a healthcare provider such as a Public Health Nurse, Physician, clinic, etc. Once the card is signed, families should mail the card back to Kid Care CHIP and we will mail a bag for you or your child.  We have “mommy bags” for 0-2 year olds, sling bags for 3-5 year olds, string backpacks for 6-12 year olds, and teen bags for 13-18 year olds.
