About Us

The Mission of the Wyoming Immunization Program is to support and promote immunization services through collaboration, education and resources to reduce vaccine-preventable diseases in Wyoming.

We are responsible for overseeing the Public Vaccine Programs that include the federally-funded Vaccines for Children (VFC) and Vaccines for Uninsured Adults (VUA) Program, as well as the state-funded Wyoming Vaccinates Important People (WyVIP) and Adult Hepatitis Vaccine (AHV) Programs.

In addition, the Immunization Program maintains the Wyoming Immunization Registry (WyIR), a secure, confidential, internet-based immunization database and clinical decision-making system.

The Immunization Program serves as a resource to Wyoming immunization providers for education and clinical guidance, vaccine storage and handling, immunization coverage rates, and many other areas.  We also support Wyoming patients by providing information on vaccines, provider locations, Public Vaccine Programs, immunization exemptions and much more.
