Clinic information:

  • Held twice a year (spring and fall) on a Thursday and Friday
  • Clinics are held in Casper, WY
  • Funded by the Wyoming Department of Health, Oral Health Program
  • There is no charge to Wyoming residents to attend the clinic

Services provided at clinic:

  • No treatment is rendered at this clinic
  • Collaborative diagnostic and treatment recommendations of specialists
  • Wyoming Department of Health staffs are available to help coordinate services with Children's Special Health, Oral Health, and Medicaid/Kid Care CHIP

Our multidisciplinary team approach lets you meet with all the necessary specialists in one visit. Team members are practicing Wyoming providers and recognized for their outstanding outcomes. Our team includes pediatric specialists in:

  • Audiologist
  • Craniofacial/Plastic Surgeon
  • Dentist
  • Dental hygienist
  • Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon
  • Orthodontist
  • Otolaryngologist (ENT)
  • Speech-Language Pathologist

    • Average 8 cases of cleft lip and/or cleft palate per year from 2008-2010
    • Average of 11 cases per year from 2011-2013
  • United States
    • Approximately each year 2,650 babies are born with a cleft palate and 4,440 babies are born with a cleft lip (Parker, et al)
