Adult Protective Services are those services provided to vulnerable adults in the State of Wyoming. By definition a vulnerable adult means any person (18) eighteen or older who is unable to manage and take care of themselves or their money, assets of property without assistance as a result of advanced age (60 and over) or physical or mental disability.

Adult Protective Services is state funded and addresses reports of abuse, neglect, self-neglect, abandonment, exploitation, sexual abuse and intimidation. Funds are available for emergency services only and the program works in partnership with communities, agencies and resources to support vulnerable adults in aging with dignity and living safely in their homes and communities.
